Oopla is a series of 28-day Physical Activity Games that everyone can play. Whatever you count as exercise, counts.

No measuring steps or calories, simply log your exercise activities such as Walk, Run, Cycle, Swim, Yoga, and Workouts to score points and climb the Leaderboard. Oopla is here to keep us active and connected, moving us into the year ahead.

Oopla allows everyone to compete on an equal footing, so anyone is able to take part, regardless of current fitness ability or time availability. It's not about doing as much exercise as humanly possible, but building good habits, so everyone will find Oopla a Challenge!

Bottom line, the aim is to meet and exceed the WHO recommended activity levels each week (approx 30 minutes per day), something that everyone should always be trying to achieve.

You will score points from taking part in your own choice of activities, so Oopla will suit every type of interest & level. It's fair game!

Each Round of Oopla is 28 days long and there are 13 Rounds per year. You can join Oopla at any time and simply jump into the current Round to start playing. All scoreboards then reset every Day 1, so make sure to log all of your activities by midnight on Day 28!

The primary aim of Oopla is to help you keep active (sustainably) and to help you develop daily habits.

To climb the Leaderboard, the aim of the game is to score a high number of points in a low amount of time, so it requires strategic thinking, daily planning & scheduling and of course, regular physical activity.

Simply login and go to your Activity Log using the + Symbol to add an activity manually or connect to one of the third-party connections like Strava to add activities automatically.

No, all you require is access to the internet to log your activity. You can however use a smartphone to download and use the free Strava App to record activities, these will sync automatically with Oopla. If you own a compatible fitness device (e.g. Garmin or Apple Watch), you can sync this to Strava to use with Oopla.

Everyone can also choose to use our Stealth Mode on the Leaderboard if you want to keep your identity completely hidden.

Strava users can choose their Full Privacy Settings ("Only Me") so you become invisible on Strava and only the data we need gets sent to us at Oopla.
